Lizette Labuschagne is a social worker in forensic practice. She obtained her BA (Psychology) degree in 2005 at the University of Johannesburg. During 2005 she also completed her Honors degree in Social Work at the University of Johannesburg. Lizette has been working in private practice since 2009, focusing her practice on providing services to families and children. In 2009 she obtained a Masters degree, MA (Clinical Social Work), at the University of Johannesburg. In 2013 Lizette Labuschagne successfully completed a second Masters degree in Social Work Forensic Practice (Cum laude) at the North West University (Potchefstroom campus). Following the completion of her second Masters degree Lizette found her passion and restructured her practice to focus primarily on forensic social work. Forensic social work includes evaluation and investigations with regards to child sexual abuse as well as comprehensive evaluations with the purpose of making recommendations in care and contact disputes matters. Lizette is currently in the process of completing her PhD degree in forensic social work.
