Team building in Mpumalanga!

On Thursday, 28th February 2019, the personnel of the three offices had a fun filled team building session during Group Supervision.

The morning started on a very tasteful note as we enjoyed scones made especially for us by Jordeaux and his team from La TriesBien. The delicious treats gave everyone enough energy for the fun that followed.

Three teams were established, each team received a set of cups which had to be constructed into a tower, the team with the highest tower that stood on it’s own for 60 seconds won. Congratulations to Annette and her blue team, they are master tower builders.

Various other fun filled activities followed involving colorful cups, ping-pong balls and balloons.

For the next activity teams of two persons each formed. Team members sat back to back to each other. The one team member had a picture which she had to describe to her team mate, the team mate had to draw the pictures according to the instructions received. It was clearly demonstrated that social workers are good communicators.

Thank you very much Jacques and Chantelle from NeuroEduCare for the fun filled morning you presented. Everyone enjoyed it very much!

Jacques and Chantelle donated vouchers for therapy to the value of R 11 500.00 to Rata. The vouchers entitles a client to three sessions – an intake and two therapy sessions. Thank you very much Jacques and Chantelle, you are a true blessing to us.

After all the fun we enjoyed a nice lunch of bobotie, flavored rice, vegies and salad also prepared especially for us by Jordeaux and his team.

After all the fun and games it was time to be serious again and a discussion followed on some of the Rata policies. This proved to be very insightful to everyone.

Thank you Annette for arranging such a fun filled morning! Thank you to every member of the Mpumalanga family for the fun we had with each other! We are truly a great team!
