An old partnership being renewed in Witbank
The NetherDutchReformed Church is Rata’s mother organization.
The Bronkhorstspruit Region of the Church want’s to renew the existing bonds between the Church and Rata Social Services with a very exciting new project, namely a soup kitchen once a week.
The aim is to provide a proper meal to the homeless once a week.
The first event will take place on Friday, 7th June 2019 @ 12:00 at Rata Witbank’s Office.
Initially a meal will be provided to 50 beneficiaries.
The aim is to grow the project and eventually provide meals and shelter to the ever growing amount of needy people in the community.
To ensure the success of the program Rata and the Church needs more partners and invites the congregations in the area, businesses and the community to become involved by either donating their time and effort or sponsoring ingredients.
