The congregation members of New Life Church in Witbank, became aware of Rata Social Services when the manager and house mother of their brand new Children’s Home introduced herself to us. They expressed their wish to become involved with Rata and thus collected 40 gifts for foster children in our communities.
The gifts included stationary, toiletries, clothes, toys and snacks. Our office added another 35 gifts from other donations received from the community during the year. You could see the smiles and happiness when 75 children received gifts. They were so happy and can not wait to open their gifts on Christmas day!
